India….
Yuvraj Singh's quick 72 helped India
clinch a nerve-wracking 11-run victory over arch-rivals Pakistan in the second
T20 International to level the series 1-1 in Ahmedabad. Yuvraj's 36-ball knock
saw the hosts post a competitive 192 and then restricted the rivals to 181 for
seven.
Dhoni got his
act right this time both in team selection and captaincy. Bringing back Ashwin
and not bowling a spinner in the last over was good.
Both the matches
were close and like any India –Pak match , there was immense pressure on the
players to perform. The crowd got their moneys worth as both the matches went
till the last over and it was anybody's game till then. It would have been
better if it was a 3 match series.
The 50 over
format starts on 30th and we can look forward to some great
cricketing action in the coming days.
