Virat Kohli must be rested ….
Virat Kolhi is a great player and he had a great
run last year. However, on current form he must be dropped atleast for the
match at Kochi. Many players have taken their place in the side for granted and
the selectors have started acting only now on non performers, though not on a large scale.
The news that he must be made india’s next captain has
made him overconfident and is shown in his performance of late. Making him sit
out will provide chance to players (pujara) who have been performing.
Indian selectors have to take clues from Australia
& South Africa, who do not go by the players past records but only on
current form. The dropping of Michael Hussey from the ODI series is a recent example.
Dropping Virat Kohli for one match will do a world
of good to him…….and of course Indian cricket.
Selectors / Captain, please take the decision and……..kardo sab ki bolti band !!!
