Positive thinking is a mental attitude that sees the bright side of things.  All successful people have one thing in common: Positive thinking and passion for what they are doing. If you adopt this mental attitude, you teach your mind to expect success, growth and favorable outcomes. A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health, and favorable results.

Watch the successful professionals and try to understand their dedication and sacrifices they do in their effort to reach that point that will bring them professional recognition. All the major successes start from a simple idea and if there is real desire and positive thinking then they become a reality. Some people accept positive thinking as a fact, and believe in its effectiveness. Others, consider it as nonsense, and scoff at people who believe or accept it. Among the people who accept it, not many know how to use it effectively to get results. It is quite common to hear people telling others to "think positive", while these same people do not follow their own advice.

How can we keep this enthusiasm and desire for success until we meet our objectives?
Believe in your abilities.
The difference of people that remain enthusiastic and loyal to their goals is simply that they know they will achieve their goal, they do not hope, they know it. They always think positive about achieving their targets and they do not leave a negative thought to pass their minds, not even for a moment.

If you do not take the decision and set a target then clearly there is no way to be able to achieve it. Thinking positive that at the end you we will be able to achieve your goals will help you work towards the right direction. It doesn't matter what your circumstances are at the present moment. Think positively, expect only favorable results and situations, and circumstances will change accordingly. If you persevere, you will transform the way your mind thinks. It might take some time for the changes to take place, but eventually they will.

You should remind yourself constantly about the goal and your desire for success. If you are to achieve a target then you should plan your next steps and put the chart at a point where you can see it regularly. In case you feel inner resistance and difficulties when replacing negative thoughts with positive ones, do not give up, but keep looking only at the beneficial, good and happy thoughts in your mind.

Avoid people with negative thoughts.

 You might have never thought about it, but most often the people who surround you can unconsciously and consciously make you fail your goals. If you are surrounded mainly by negative people who are not thinking positive and are not trying for anything and who believe that everything is in vain and life is in a path doomed to failure … will certainly have an impact in your effort to meet your goals. Alternatively, if you are close to cheerful, optimistic and positive thinkers who always look on the positive side of life and encourage you, then your objectives can be achieved more easily. No wonder that we want to be around positive people, and prefer to avoid negative ones. Do not share your goals and your dreams with the wrong people because you will be disappointed with their comments and attitude.

Get inspired.

Even when you feel your batteries are empty, try to remain focused on your goal. Those who are successful have done something better than you, so learn from them and try to improve your defects.

Think yourself as a Success.

When our attitude is positive, we enjoy pleasant feelings and visualize what we really want to happen. This brings brightness to the eyes, more energy and happiness. The whole being broadcasts good will, happiness and success. Even our health is affected in a beneficial way. We walk tall, our voice is more powerful, and our body language shows the way we feel. . If you can create the right image in your minds then you start to behave as if you have already achieved your goal.

Begin immediately.

On vital step in achieving your goals is to be able to manage and defeat your tendency to postpone .If you really want to achieve something then start to get it done immediately. This is the right time. Each and every move, each and every step, each and every thought should lead you to your goals. You should recognize what is the first move that will lead you to your goal and to do it NOW.

Over work will affect you badly.


A stressful job coupled with bad lifestyle is a recipe for a host of chronic ailments.
We no longer work to live, we live to work. Even after the computers and office are shut, our minds and blackberries refuse to stop. Call it ambition, insecurity or any other term, the fact remains that overwork is killing us.

The line between work and rest has blurred, courtesy the invasion of mobile phones and laptops. We no longer have the luxury of a nine to six job. We cannot afford to switch off our mobiles. Work has become life. And that is nothing to be proud of. Very few people acknowledge the problem. Staying back after office hours has become a norm. The few who leave on time are work – shirkers, that’s the perception. Being ambitious is good, but it’s going too far at the cost of your health. People in their 30s and 40s are the major ones suffering from lifestyle ailments and work culture is the common culprit. Irritability, anxiety, depression & alcoholism are signs that the situation is getting out of hand. Without realizing it, we continue the self destructive journey. What is missing is a sense of balance. Work is important but so is rest. If there is a mismatch, stress is inevitable.

 A demanding job may leave you with very little time, but it is important to take time out to de-stress. Also, do not take work home and do not work on holidays. Time spent with family and friends goes a long way in de-stressing.

Work is important and can contribute to physical and mental well being, but not if people don’t have the time to look after their own health. Over work doesn’t make you productive, in fact it makes you less productive. Burnout happens fast when people are asked to work in ways that obstructs all other parts of their lives. Maybe it is prudent to enjoy leisure time and ensure that what nourishes us , doesn’t destroy us.

Don’t pay for anything with your health…………it’s not worth it.

Remember : Sometimes its not about moving on, it’s just taking a break from everything, and concentrating on yourself, because at the end; who’s there? YOU.

Religion generates enough power to produce good, to spread good and to sustain good. Every religion teaches the same truth “ to be good and to do good”

Man often becomes a victim of uncontrolled mind. This state of mind breeds enmity, lust, hatred, suspicion and fear. The taming of the mind requires faith and effort. Faith comes as wings to a bird by attachment to religion or by good nature and good company.

Good behavior and love towards all living beings ensures peace and happiness. Good nature is contagious like bad nature. When you are good and do good it spreads to the recipients- your family members, friends or people around you, acquire this quality.

Human mind gives room for one thought at a time. When the mind is occupied with good thoughts it has no place for evil thoughts. The mind becomes your true friend once it is controlled.

Is good nature enough to ensure ideal life ?  No, while being good, evil should be ruthlessly eradicated. The strength of good nature lies in correcting evil in any form. This has been depicted in the Ramayana & the Mahabharatha also.

It is proved many a time that when a person is angry, jealous or greedy, body metabolism produces more acids which are harmful for healthy functioning of the human body. Thus good nature is the key to good health and happiness.

A good natured man does tremendous good to himself and to society. He always strives to do good and be good. Such persons take care of all living beings and treat them with kindness.

What all religions preach…

Why are you unnecessarily worrying?  Whom do you fear?  Who can kill you? Soul is not born, nor does it die.

What has happened has happened for the best. What is happening is happening for the best. What will happen will happen for the best. Do not brood over the past. Do not worry about the future.

The present is on. What have you lost, that you are weeping? What have you bought, that you have lost? What have you made that has been destroyed? You have not bought anything. What you have, you got from here. What was given was given from here. What you took, you took from the universe. What you gave, you gave to the universe. You have come here empty handed and shall go empty handed. What is yours today was somebody else’s in the past and will be somebody else’s in the future. You think it is yours and are deeply engrossed in it. This attachment is the cause of all your sorrows.

Change is the law of life. In a moment you are poor and in the very next,  you are a millionaire.

Surrender to GOD. He is the ultimate support. He who experiences this is completely free from fear, worry and despair. Whatever you do offer it to Him. By this you will forever experience Eternal Bliss.

In today’s world we make wrong assumptions about almost anything in life. By assuming we make mistakes or at times we are misguided. Wrong assumptions are about anything from work ethics, relationships, mathematics or even happiness.

Some of the common wrong assumptions we often make …..or would have experienced are….

·                                 The person next to me is better off!
·        Things will work out.
·        The grass is greener on the other side.
·        It will not happen to me. One day, they will be wrong.
·        Having more money can make them happy forever.
·        I am important and I am right.
·        If you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all.
·        Society watches you closely on whatever you do.
·        Good times will eventually come.
·        If I do this, people will think I am wrong.
·        All eyes are on you.
·        Someone else will take responsibility.
·        We know what we’re talking about.
·        You can balance things by taking revenge.
·        They have sufficient informational for a rational decision.
·        What is important to them is as important to others.
·        Just ignore it the problem will go away.
·        I have enough time for exam, I will start studying tomorrow.
·        I am being perfectly logical and fair and everyone that disagrees with me is just plain stupid.
·        My moral system is the social norm, if you don’t agree with me, something is wrong with you.
